Announcement of the official vote results by the City of Calgary. -
Monday, November 19, 2018
Formal discussion and vote by Calgary City Council. -
Wednesday, November 28, 2018
Presentation in Tokyo, Japan, host of the 2020 Olympic Summer Games, to a meeting of the Association of National Olympic Committees. -
Early December, 2018
Finalization and signature of the Multiparty Agreement by partners: The City of Calgary, the Province of Alberta, the Government of Canada and the Town of Canmore. -
Friday, January 11, 2019
Deadline for formal submission to the IOC of the Official Candidacy Questionnaire for the Calgary 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. -
March and April 2019
An IOC Evaluation Commission will travel to the candidate cities. -
June 2019
IOC Evaluation Commission publishes a report based on March/April visits. -
May 5-10, 2019
Presentation to the Winter International Sport Federations at Sport Accord, Gold Coast, Australia. -
June 23-25, 2019
Presentation in Lausanne, Switzerland to the International Olympic Committee’s 134th Session, followed by a vote by IOC members on the successful host City and Country for the 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
